GERRY – Pre-sale tickets for the four performances of 74th annual Gerry PRCA rodeo, August 1-4, are now available at a large number of area sites as well as by phone.
In addition to two long time partners, Lander’s Men’s Store on Main Street in Jamestown and the Exit 12 Kwik Fill north of the Jamestown city line, eleven Country Fair stores will be selling tickets. Those sites include stores in Brocton, North East, Gerry, Fredonia, Dunkirk, Bradford, Corry, Youngsville, Springville, and two stores in Warren.
Pre-sale is also available by phone at (716) 985-4847 or toll free 1-888-985-4847 and at the Chautauqua County Fair in Dunkirk on July 20,21,22.
Both performance tickets and combination tickets (performance and dinner) for adults and children are available at reduced rates, saving rodeo fans $2.00 or $3.00 per ticket. Those having pre-sale tickets can avoid standing in line for ticket purchases at the rodeo and tickets are good for any of the four performances.
The Gerry Rodeo is the longest consecutively running rodeo east of the Mississippi and will feature more than 200 professional cowboys and cowgirls competing for $45,000 in prize money. The event also features the famous beef barbeque dinners, cooked outdoors over wood fires and served at 5:00 each evening in the air-conditioned dining room. A lighted midway with more than 20 vendors will offer everything from Western wear to cotton candy. A free kids rodeo, ages 3-8, will be held on Saturday at 3:00 P.M.
